Alicia Kidd is an award-winning photographer, a certified professional, and an experienced teacher. Based in Puerto Rico, her work takes her around the world. She’s willing to go the distance – literally and figuratively – to document your moment. Alicia’s light-hearted personality makes her a pleasure to work with. She approaches her photography with the desire to understand a story, to communicate it creatively, and most of all, to tell it with passion. Kidd teaches at the Altos de Chavon School of Design in the Dominican Republic during summer courses and she is recognized asset for workshops around the world. Her students range from serious amateurs to paid professionals, and her eye for the art has her acting as curator for a variety of photo galleries. Alicia’s students aren’t the only testaments to her ability. She is an ACE (Adobe Certified Expert) in post-production, a member of the WPJA (Wedding Photojournalist Association), and Fearless Photographers.
She uses her camera to make the traditional exceptional, and to turn the ordinary into something extraordinary.
